Situated in the southern part of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, Lushan Mountain is on the bank of Poyang Lake. It is one of China's famous mountains and covers an area of 300 square kilometers. It was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996. The mountain is a well-known scenic area, summer resort and sanitaria. There are imposing and magnificent peaks, unique waterfalls, and historical sites as well as a changing sea of clouds, a warm and comfortable climate and one of the hometowns of green tea. Your best season to come to Mt. Lushan is April and May.

Day 01: Beijing/Mt. Lushan (Jiujiang)

Your own transfer to catch the overnight train to Jiujiang.

Day 02: Mt.Lushan (B/L)

Greeted at Jiujiang railway station, then transfer to have breakfast @ Yuanzhou Hotel.

09:30 - 10:30  transfer to Mt. Lushan by private vehicle

11:00 - 12:00  visit the Meilu Villa (Chiang Kai-shek & Song Meiling)

12:30 - 13:30  have lunch

13:30 - 14:00  check in at Xihu hotel

14:00 - 16:00  visit Pathway with flowers surrounding and Splendid Valley

16:30 - 17:30  visit Lushan Museum (Former Chairman Mao's Villa)

After dinner, strolling around and enjoy night view of Guling Town on top of the mountains.

Day 03: Mt. Lushan(B/L)

Breakfast served at hotel.

Morning visit to the Old Villas, get to know the story of six famous villas over hundreds years and view the special display and architectural style.

Then transfer to Xingzi by private vehicle and have lunch.

Afternoon visit White Deer Hole Academy and enjoy Tea Culture lecture inside.White Deer Hole Academy is a Confucian School of Idealist Philosophy during the Song Dynasty and list as top of the Four Academy in Jiangxi. Inside this famous academy, you will have a professional lecture about Chinese green tea. Transfer to Lushan Real Features Scenic Spots to do tea culture research. In Haihui Temple, you have 2 hours' to enjoy tea plucking & Tea processing by yourselves.

Day 04: Mt. Lushan (Jiujiang)/Beijing (B/L)

Morning visit to Taohuayuan Scenic Spots & Gulianquan Scenic Spots. Taohuayuan Scenic Spots is famous by an article named A Tale of the Fountain of the Peach Blossom Spring and even was list on the junior middle school textbook. In this article, the author descript one fishing man discover this small paradise by accident. There are nice landscape and local people are quite friendly.  They never know the outside world and live happily by their own. Come to this place will banish all your troubles and purify your soul.Enjoy Ecological farming lunch in local family.

 After this you will come to the Gulianquan Spring. This spring was mentioned in The Class of Tea, the first tea book written by Lu Yu. In his book, Lu Yu test all the spring water over the world and find out this spring is cold and crystal-clear, which is best for making tea. Here you can boil springs and taste green tea, meanwhile enjoy professional outdoor tea performance.

After dinner, transfer to catch the train back to Beijing.
